It’s important to wash the fruits and vegetables that you buy from the grocery store. Here’s an easy recipe for vegetable wash that you can make and use that won’t cost and arm and a leg and will thoroughly clean your food!

What you need:

* 1 T lemon juice from 1 organic lemon (lemon juice is a natural disinfectant)
* 2 T organic vinegar (the acid in vinegar will neutralize most pesticides)
* 1 cup water (filtered is best)
* A clean spray bottle

The procedure:

1. Squeeze the lemon and measure 1 tablespoon into your spray bottle.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 cup of water to your spray bottle.
3. Put top on bottle and shake well.
4. Spray mixture on all your fruit and vegetables.
5. Rinse produce with water.
